The Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society Board of Advisors provides advice on the strategy and operations of the Irving Institute in service to its mission to advance affordable, sustainable, and reliable energy futures for the benefit of society and also serves as a connection to the outside world of energy in today's society. The Advisory Board has broad representation from many areas, including academia, industry, government, and nongovernmental organizations.

The Dartmouth Athletics Advisory Board provides advice and counsel to the director and to Dartmouth senior leadership regarding Dartmouth Athletics and Recreation and its programs, policies, and resources. The Board and its members serve as key supporters of and ambassadors for Dartmouth Athletics and Recreation.

The John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding Board of Visitors reviews and recommends changes to policies, programs and resources; advises in long-term strategic planning; identifies and develops resources and financial support; and assists the director in outreach for the Dickey Center.

The Board of Advisors acts in an advisory role to the Geisel School of Medicine through the dean, Dartmouth senior leadership, and Dartmouth’s Board of Trustees. Principal responsibilities of the Board are to counsel and advise on matters including strategic planning, medical education, finance and budget, research, and philanthropy. The Board of Advisors periodically assesses, evaluates, and appraises Geisel’s programs in light of its mission and its relationships with Dartmouth and Dartmouth Health. The Board also reviews Geisel's budget.

The Frank J. Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies Board of Advisors meets at least twice a year to discuss the Guarini school’s strategy, programs, policies, and resources.

The Board of Advisors for the Hopkins Center for the Arts is to act in an advisory role to the director, Dartmouth senior leadership, and Dartmouth’s Board of Trustees. The Board of Advisors reviews and advises on the policies, programs, and resources of the Hopkins Center. The Board and its members serve as key supporters of and ambassadors for the Hopkins Center.

The Hood Museum of Art Board of Advisors is to provide the director, Dartmouth senior leadership, and Dartmouth’s Board of Trustees with advice and perspective to support and achieve the Hood’s mission. Dartmouth Administration consults with the Board from time to time on matters relating to the operation of the Museum, its staff, and the policies of the Administration and of Dartmouth with respect to the Museum.

The Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship Board of Advisors provides the director and Dartmouth senior leadership with advice and perspective on the strategy, programs, policies, and resources for entrepreneurship at Dartmouth.

The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences Board of Visitors reviews policies and resources, recommends changes in policy, engages in long-term planning, identifies and develops resources and financial support, and assists the director in maintaining relationships with external sources.

The Thayer School of Engineering Board of Advisors was established in 1867 by Sylvanus Thayer in his original gift to Dartmouth to help found the School that now bears his name. The Board serves a vital advisory role to the Dean, providing advice and perspective on Thayer's strategy, programs and resources.

The Tuck School of Business Board of Advisors, established in 1951, provides the dean, Dartmouth senior leadership, and Dartmouth’s Board of Trustees with advice and perspective on the strategy and operations of the Tuck School.

The William Jewett Tucker Center Board of Advisors provides the director and Dartmouth senior leadership with advice and perspective on the Tucker Center’s strategy, programs, policies, and resources.
