Associate Provost, Digital and Online Learning

Biography

As Associate Provost, Digital and Online Learning, Erin leads a team of talented learning designers, media specialists, educational technologists and online learning experts to support faculty in their course design, manage the technology that helps facilitate student learning and create/launch new programs that bring the Dartmouth experience to students in new fields and locations across the world. She has worked with nearly all departments and programs across Dartmouth in various capacities, from course design through master degree program launches. Erin is committed to ensuring inclusive and engaging learning environments while utilizing innovative practice to bring communities together.

Prior to joining Dartmouth in 2015, Erin worked as an Instructional Designer at Brown University and an Educational Technologist at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where her responsibilities included training and supporting faculty, designing and building courses, and other front-end infrastructure support. Erin earned her Bachelor's degree at Simmons College and her Master's degree in Education at Boston University. She has served as a member of the NERCOMP Board of Trustees since 2021, and was a panelist for Educause's Top 10 Issues 2025. She lives in Norwich, VT, with her husband Jerry and children Ben and Josie.
