Anne Hudak is a dedicated and experienced leader at Dartmouth College. As co-interim dean of the college, she oversees the Division of Student Affairs units of Student Support Services and the Student Affairs central administration. Most recently, Anne served as the associate dean for Student Support Services.
Her journey at Dartmouth began in 2007 as the director of basketball operations. She quickly advanced to the role of assistant athletic director for CHAMPS Life Skills, and subsequently became the associate athletic director for Dartmouth Peak Performance.
Transitioning to the Undergraduate Deans Office in 2013, Anne served as an assistant dean of undergraduate students, successfully guiding the classes of 2016 and 2018 to graduation. She also made significant contributions by working specifically with veteran students on campus from 2018-2020. In November 2020, Anne was appointed director of the undergraduate deans office, and in July 2021, she ascended to her current role as associate dean for Student Support Services.
In this role, Anne provided strategic direction and leadership within the Student Affairs Division. She supervised a team of 45 professionals, including six direct reports, across six key departments and programs: the Undergraduate Deans Office, Center for Professional Development, Student Accessibility Services, Academic Skills Center, First Generation Office, and the ROTC Program. In addition to ensuring effective coordination of student support services, she served on the Dean of the College's senior leadership team.
Before joining Dartmouth, Anne, who hails from Cape Cod, worked in marketing and event planning. She also coached women's ice hockey and lacrosse at the collegiate level, showcasing her versatility and commitment to athletics and student development.
Anne holds a BA in Economics from Wheaton College in Massachusetts and an MSA from Saint Michael's College in Vermont. Her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to student success make her an invaluable asset to the Dartmouth community.
