The Center for Comparative Medicine and Research exists to provide high quality, cost-effective animal husbandry, administrative, and research support for animal care and use. Our goal is to facilitate research and teaching at Dartmouth while maintaining the highest quality of animal care.
The Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (CPHS) is the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Dartmouth College - a federally mandated committee with the charge of overseeing institutional research projects involving human participants. The CPHS serves as the IRB for Dartmouth College. The mission of the CPHS is to protect the rights and welfare of research participants.
Houses promote intellectual engagement, community, and continuity. They increase student access to members of the faculty in residential spaces, build community by creating opportunities for enhanced social ties and shared experiences in the residential system, and respond to the long-standing call from students for more continuity in their residential experience.
Every student has a House membership, regardless of where you live. As a House member, you'll be eligible to participate in all House programs and activities, even if you live off-campus or in Greek housing or Living Learning Communities. You can choose for yourself how much you want to be involved.
The primary missions of the TTO are to transfer Dartmouth technology to our nation and the world to benefit society, enhance the recruitment and retention of world-class faculty and staff through fair and transparent policies, and generate and distribute revenue from the commercialization of Dartmouth technology.
The TTO is responsible for safeguarding, managing and reporting Dartmouth intellectual property for Dartmouth's stakeholders, partners and sponsors.

Our role is to support and facilitate international research collaboration, advise on establishing and sustaining institutional cooperative agreements, and provide travel-related resources for Dartmouth students, faculty, and staff. We advise on all aspects of international academic collaboration at Dartmouth, provide travel and research grants to Dartmouth faculty members, and work with partners around the world.
GrantGPS helps catalyze scholarship for researchers of all ranks and disciplines at Dartmouth. With the aim of supporting faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and trainees during every aspect of their pursuit for funding and intellectual impact, GrantGPS provides assistance with a host of associated tasks.
The Office of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer (OETT) serves as a proactive resource for the Dartmouth community in the areas of entrepreneurship, intellectual property, and technology commercialization. The OETT is responsible for the management of entrepreneurship (Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship) and technology transfer related activities for students, faculty, and alumni.
The mission of the OETT is to support the institution's vision for experiential learning and energize and organize the entrepreneurial ecosystem in support of Dartmouth entrepreneurs.
