Conclusion of the the Ad Hoc Council on Work-Life Issues

The Ad Hoc Council on Work-Life Issues, established by the Office of the Provost, has concluded its work.

The function of the Ad Hoc Council on Work-Life Issues was:

  1. To provide guidance to the Provost and Executive Vice President in addressing the challenges of work-life issues as they relate to the recruitment and retention of employees and graduate students, with particular attention to how such issues affect diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  2. Advise senior leadership on efforts to coordinate with other providers and large employers in the Upper Valley regarding dependent care, after school care, and summer care. (3) Advise the Senior Vice President & Senior Diversity Officer on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion, as they relate to the hiring and retention of faculty and staff.
