Dartmouth Advisory Boards
Boards of Advisors are advisory in nature to the dean/director of their specific school, center, institute, or area and through the dean/director to the provost, president, and Board of Trustees. The scope of their charge is strategic and high-level, with advice and perspective on the strategy, programs, policies, and resources of advancing the school, center, institute, or area's program, profile, and impact. Some Advisory Boards may provide careful oversight of the area's budget. Fiduciary responsibility resides with, and Advisory Boards are subordinate to, the College's Board of Trustees.
