• Dartmouth is New Hampshire's eighth largest service sector employer with more than $500 million in payroll.

Taxes

• Dartmouth is Hanover's largest taxpayer (approximately $8 million in taxes to Hanover); Approximately $85,000 to Lebanon, NH in real estate taxes

College Population

• Approximately 6,500 students and 4,000 employees

Education

• Approximately 50% of undergrads receive financial aid with an average award of $51,000 annually

• Nearly 90% of current New Hampshire and Vermont undergrad students receive financial aid.

• Through the Special Community Student Program, Dartmouth offers free courses to local high school students with an annual tuition value of $700,000. (Note: program paused during the pandemic)
